IONIA, Erythrae. temp. Gallienus, AD 253-268. Æ (26mm, 6.88 g, 6h). Aelius Paullus Diongenianus, strategos. Veiled bust of Demeter Horia to left, holding grain ears and cornucopia / Herakles walking right, brandishing club and holding lion-skin. BMC 244 (same obv. die); SNG Copenhagen 752 (same obv. die). Dark green to black patina with traces of red, some minor smoothing. Good VF.
